Personal Talents & Accomplishments
I have done a few things that I am very proud of myself for. Firstly, I went an extremely small high school. Me and about 4 other students and a teacher decided to put on a fashion show to raise money for breast cancer. In a couple months we managed to get clothes and equipment donated, and put a show together. From a school of under 100 students, we managed to raise over 4000 dollars for breast cancer research. It was alot of hard work but for a great cause, so it was all worth it.
I won the drama award in grade 9 and the humanitarian award at my grade 8 elementary graduation.
At my summer camp when I was 14 I managed to win the sportsmanship award first month, and the humanitarian award second month. I am very happy and proud of my accomplishments. While I do not do things in order to get noticed, it is nice to know that people honour what you do sometimes.
I have a few talents. I'm a pretty good snow skiier, the moguls are my specialty. There's nothing like the feeling of going down a nice, steep, powdery hill filled with bumps. It's such a rush. I also water ski, although my older sister is still better than me. And I'm not a bad dancer, if I do say so myself.
